As a true all-mountain ski, the Ripstick 86 is the missing link between off- and on-piste and adresses the needs of riders who prefer a more buttery feel in a ski, compared to the Amphibio all-mountain series. Inheriting the tech pedigree from its larger brothers, it’s confident off-piste, but can handle the piste in all snow conditions, especially at the end of the day, when it can get bumpy out there. With Elan’s uniqe tech – Amphibio and mountain rocker profile, this narrower Ripstick is super agile, but still smooth and comfortable. The secret lies in the innovative TNT Technology for a snappy and lively feel, while the SST sidewalls complement the core for a direct transmission of power to the edge. The Ripstick 86 is the ultimate resort SUV from off-piste to on.
Elan’s unique TNT technology is a combination of innovations that provides the best balance of light weight construction with power and performance. The core of the TNT Technology is the Tubelite Wood Core with carbon rods along the edges of the ski, combined with Vapor Tip Inserts. The end result is an extremely lightweight high performance ski with exceptional power, cushioning and stability.
